What is Sarcoma?
Sarcoma is a rare cancer of the connective or supportive tissue (bone, cartilage, fat, muscle, blood vessels) and soft tissue.
Sarcoma accounts for 1% of adult cancers and 15% of all childhood cancers.
The purpose of Onkologisk center for sarkom is to provide assistance to sarcoma patients and their families who are in need, bring awareness to a rare type of cancer and support sarcoma research.

Jan 5, 2015 — Nora Murray was diagnosed with a sarcoma at 44 and visited Johns Hopkins to find hope. Sarcomas are rare, large, complex tumors that only a few centers in the country are experienced in treating. Nora walks us through her battle with sarcoma, how she overcame it and how her quality of life has improved.
