The SGA sponsored Second Homecoming, a winter dance from which all proceeds were donated to the charity.
SGA President Grant Kilduff and Dance Chairwoman Katelyn Lester spearheaded the event, the first successful winter dance in more than six years at Liberty High.
Faculty and staff members donated their time to help chaperone the dance and the student body overwhelmingly supported the dance, as more than 600 tickets were sold.
The SGA hopes to make this an annual event that will only grow to raise more money for sarcoma research.
